RadeonPro not recognizing SweetFX folder

I am trying to setup RadeonPro to use SweetFX, and have followed this guide to enable it. However when I get to the point where I make a folder for SweetFX and extract it's files to it, RadeonPro says "The specified folder does not exist" when I try and save the settings. Thus it won't allow me to enable SweetFX.

I have tried renaming the folder just as it shows in the guide, and even putting it on my F: drive vs the secondary partition of my OS drive, but still no luck. These are also the latest versions of RadeonPro and the SweetFX shader suite.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening or how to circumvent it?

What's even more strange is if I put just the compressed archive of SweetFX in the folder without extracting it's contents, Radeon Pro will say "SweetFX files could not be found on selected folder" right after I establish the folder path before even attempting to Save the settings. So it's only the final Save process where it loses track of the folder.

Check directories for Screenshots, movies and benchmarks, one of them may be pointing to an invalid directory.

Thanks, much, that did the trick.

I'm not sure if it's even necessary to tweak SweetFX settings from inside RadeonPro, since the SweetFX readme says to just edit the SweetFX_settings.txt file after extracting SweetFX into the game's exe directory, and mentions nothing of RadeonPro, but at least it works that way now.

SweetFX in RadeonPro works differently from its standalone version. If you rely on injector-based version of SweetFX, you'll need to put D3D9/DXGI.dll files into every game directory you want to apply its shaders and configure each game by editing the .txt file. Using SweetFX integrated into RadeonPro you don't have to put those dll's into game directories and can select shaders and change their parameters on a profile-basis method from RadeonPro's user interface, no need to edit .txt files or whatever.

Yeah I know that, but the end result seems to be the same. Doesn't want to work with Far Cry 3 btw. The shader options in RadeonPro are greyed out and it even crashes the game when I try to launch it. Odd, since that is an AMD endorsed game.

Maybe it's UPlay come to think of it. I seem to recall RadeonPro or SweetFX (forgot which one) doesn't work with 3rd party overlays. I have Uplay's overlay disabled, but I don't see a way to launch the game without Uplay opening up.

they both work fine with overlays (RP version anyway)

FC3 doesnt like injectors of any kind.

people have had luck disabling the overlay however.
