ENERMAX Introduces 18/20 cm T.B. APOLLISH and T.B. VEGAS QUAD Case Fans
ENERMAX, leading PC case and power supply brand, has introduced their T.B. APOLLISH and T.B. VEGAS QUAD Case Fans.
The fans are 18/20 cm, giving a large size for better cooling performance and are compatible with 18cm and 20 cm mounting holes. Both fans are compatible with Enermax's Fulmo, Fulmo GT, Ostrog GT, Hoplite, and Coenus computer cases. ![]() The fans feature Shift Speed Control providing 3 cooling modes. The T.B. VEGAS QUAD stands out with a Blue/Red/Green/White 4-color LED with 6 lightening modes and the T.B. APOLLISH sports a patented Circular Type LED fan with up to 18 diodes. One distinguishing element is the patented circular type LEDs with 24 (up to 4x6) diodes and are up to five times brighter than any other fans. A Vortex design is important for proper ventilation and both the T.B.VEGAS QUAD fan and the T.B.APOLLISH fan boast this enhancement. The Vortex frame design concentrates airflow to cool target areas and the blades are designed with a focus to center the light to increase the brightness of the LEDs. The MSRP will be $24.99 for the T.B.VEGAS QUAD 18 cm fan and the MSRP is $18.99 for the T.B.APOLLISH 18 cm. |

I wouldn't mind seeing an Enermax Magma version. Something without the ridiculous LEDs.
I wonder how these will compare with the Silverstone AP fans at CFM/dB |

I have some CM megaflows that are 200mm. They move a bunch of air and are silent at 700rpm. I don't even use them anymore but I wonder how they compare to these. I did cut the led's of them too.

Prices aren't too bad, and I do like the colors offered.

If you cut or turn LEDs of, then why bother buying LED-equipped fans anyway?

When I went looking for a 200mm fan, the CM megaflows were the only ones on newegg. I bought a bunch a stuff and did not want to buy from another vendor. So in other words, I did not really have a choice. Every other fan I have bought does not have led's.

Mmmkay...
Although the question was general, not really aiming at you in person.

Assuming they use the same methodology for all their fans then on the medium setting one of these would surpass 2 of their TB 140mm fans. Not bad if true. The 50,000 hours part is a bit disappointing though. |

2.24 static pressure at full speed. Good fan for one of those 180mm rads.
