Any Patriot RAM users?

Just curious if anyone else out there uses Patriot RAM. I have 8GB Viper 3 1866 and it's excellent

I was only asking. Simply because most people buy G.Skill or Corsair. Sheesh.

I have used the Extreme Masters..... It is decent memory....The Blue is pretty but most boards don't sport blue for aesthetics anymore

All high end boards are not blue. All Biostar boards are not blue. The best biostar is the TZ77E4 and not blue. Asus makes the P8 series, Low end Biostar and sapphire are blue. Most have migrated to black mono or red. The blue limits the aestetics against the mainstream market. Patriot went with Intel Blue here seeing it is Intel branded and the color is awesome though.

The very high end where blue is less common is not "most boards." That would be the $100-200 range.

Main rig has been using the Patriot Viper Xtreme 12GB (6 x 2GB) DDR3 2000 for some time now. Been pretty good RAM as far as I am concerned.

Meh.

Works well with Piledriver for me:

The other kits...the 200 MHz sticks are good, do 2400 MHz with ease as well, but the blue/red sticks.. man, 6 sticks, 4 not stable, rep never replied, so no review.

Many reviewers could not overclock the ram period with Bulldozer. I wasn't the only one.

I know. I got mine with the APU launch hardware, most likely different ICs, if you got your with BD..that was some time ago!

Actually, they seem to be the same ICs as in the new IEM and Viper3 kits. Those clock decently too, at least the two sticks(one red, one blue) that I have that actually work do clock well.
