Old Anteq case + psu

Hi.

I just got my hands on an old Anteq SLK1650 beige case with a 350w TruePower psu.

Will put some vintage stuff in it and I would like to know about these psu if they were reliable.

Don't want to blow the old setup even if it's old.

Thank you

Antec psu's seem to hold up pretty good. I have a couple older ones in my crunching rigs that do fine. If it works I would go with it. You can always pick up a decent low wattage unit for a great price used later. Them old rigs seemed not to need a big psu unit.

If the PSU was from the age of fake/low quality caps, it would've died by now. Antechad a massive problem with Teapo caps. But if it is still running, you should be fine. 350W will power an early model dual core system no problems and new computers use even less power so you could get away with an i3/i5 system if you wanted to.

After testing the system setup it worked fine. DFI motherboard skt 478 with 2 big caps blown still able to hold a massive overclock hehe. After I decided to open the psu to clean it I seen a blown cap really dry stuff so it's not new. Will repair the mobo when I find the caps and the case will be cleaned and painted black during the summer.

Antec SLK 1650 has only one size from what I seen over the net.

The customs are free for all electronics under 100$ in Canada. About the shipped since it's old stuff no insurance is needed.
