Can I sell this on ebay?

Hey guys. In buying parts for my PC i recieved the game codes for: Farcry 3 x1, Hitman Absolution x2, sleeping dogs x2 and 1x Assasins creed III and would like to get a little money back. I Was wondering if i would be allowed to sell these on ebay? I had a look at the TOS and didn't see anything about re-distribution or sale so i thought i'd check to be sure. If not ebay, does anyone know of a good site that i can sell these? If i can't sell them, i figure i'll just give them away.

Yeah, better off selling them to TPU'ers.

You need a lot of trust or stupidity to buy a digital code from a private seller. You never have a guarantee they've not double sold it. (Ebay side of things).

I really just want to get rid of them but it pains me to give away like $300+ worth of games. I really don't care how much i sell them for, unless it's rediculously low.

You can sell your dog's week old poop on ebay. Look at the current prices of the games, then take off 15-20% then list each game as a separate listing. Clearly state on the page that it is just a game code that is activated through steam and uplay (for AC3 and maybe farcry)

I do think you technically need a physical item (card in this case) to sell it on eBay same as here at TPU. I got lucky and found a real life friend to buy my Never Settle code for $40. Though I also have a Shogun 2 and Orcs Must Die.

You can, but if you can sell it otherwise please do. Even if you take a $5 or so hit here you'll probably be even with Fleabay's fees. I HATE using eBay/PP...even though I do.

Sell it here, so ePay and Paypal don't get thier 20% cut (which is about the total for video games). eBay is just plain evil... but neccessary sometimes.

I sold most of my 16 games from the AMD bundle i got with my two cards (yep i got double the games!) and sold my old cards, so i technically paid zero for my new cards. Guess who bought them? TPUers! Whenever I get games and bundles etc this is the first place to offer, not as many shady characters

Um HELLO as I just said to sell on TPU (and eBay) it must be a physical item. So a promo card with the code is ok but just a code is not. Seems silly in this case but those are the rules.

Mailing the card with the code would not be physical goods? Question for Mods (Gods), I guess!

This guy does not have a card as I understand it. I did not get one from my SuperBiiz purchase. I just got a Never Settle digital code appear in my account section.

Sas is right, others have sold their "Never settle" bundles here on TPU as of late and as long as they mail the code vouchers out then it should not violate the terms of FS section.

Ok...but they have also taken a photo of the card voucher to put in the FS post. I could not do that as I never got one. And I read this as the OP being in the same situation. He said he received *codes*. I was pissed when learned I was not getting an actual voucher cause knew would be much harder to sell. I do have vouchers for Shogun 2 and OMD.

I never got a physical voucher card like in those examples. I had nothing to take a picture of. What is so hard to understand about this?

Sorry I just felt like I was talking to a brick wall. So, yes, unless OP comes in and confirms he does in fact have voucher cards I am pretty sure he can't sell here either as he has nothing to photograph and mail out as per the rules.

Another thing is that he can still send out the codes as long as he has a piece of hardware to send with it so he can print out the voucher and then mail it flat rate with say some screws or fan or something hardware related.

The never settle bundle with my 7870 had a card with a scratch off code, got my FarCry 3 installed by activating the code then and sent redemption codes.

The only catch, if I recall, was there was one code on the card for the whole deal.
