Help with 7970 crossfire

I cant make my crossfire to work. it keeps on freezing every time i run any 3d applications. sometimes it will work for a couple of minutes like after i run heaven benchmark and it will freeze after a couple of minutes. i am running on an x58 motherboard.

Use the "User CP" tab at the top of the forum screen and post your system specs.

Crossfire will not work in a few rare games/benchmarks but it does work in Unigine Heaven.

If the crossfire bridge is attached and the power cables are in and the driver is up to par and the 'Enable Crossfire' in Catalyst Control Centre is checked - it should work.

i am running catalyst 13.1.

Everything was working good now. I found out that the 2nd card was faulty and returned it to the shop.
