You live in Elyria....Why not hope on 90 east get off on the Jennings to 480 east to 271 north and get off on 322 Mayfield road and head to Microcenter and pick one of these

http://microcenter.com/category/4294...ate-Drives-SSD

or you could take 10/20/480 straight to 271n I think 90 would be a little quicker though.

I'd say go with this
http://microcenter.com/product/39106...rive_%28SSD%29

You're not gonna see it's full potential due to the limitations of your chipset
you will likely only see 250mb read and 180 write but if or when you upgrade your motherboard to a board with a SATA 3 controller you will see its potential...which is nice since it's an upgrade now and an upgrade after an upgrade LOL

Well the 840 is "famous" and it is the cheapest you listed. 92 dollars is pretty cheap for a 120GB SSD, runner up is the Kingston V300, I have that drive and it rocks. Note: if you do not buy a "desktop kit" you will need an adapter to fit the drive in a 3.5" or 5.25" bay.

840.
If it is an improvement on my 830 or basically identical, then go for it.

TBH i did support the samsung 840 PRO series. Yes PRO. Not the normal one. Though they cost around 80USD in price difference, the speed is superb and significant.

That's horrible pricing on the 128GB M4, $114!?

Sign up for Newegg's email promos OP, they frequently have great SSD deals. Just saw them show a 256GB M4 for $160.

I went with the Samsung 840. All the reviews make it sound as though its a good drive. Plus I can't argue that for $93 and 4+ stars makes it desirable. And as far as desktop kit I got a ssd drive mount with my case

It sure is...and its one of the worst drives at Microcenter...The Intel 330 120gb is $110 and the Sandisk 128gb is $99 and both blows the m4 away

Microcenter is far better to shop for their promo's like $50 off an Intel i5-3570 or i3-3220 with the purchase of any compatible mobo and $20 off a Samsung 840 series SSD with the purchase of any CPU or MOBO and $5 off an 8gb or $10 off a 16gb kit of any Crucial memory with the purchase of any CPU or Mobo
that makes the purchase of an Asrock Extreme6. 3570 840 120gb and 16gb Crucial memory $385- $419 after tax....Newegg does not compete.
