There are so many reasons to hold off on brand new titles starting with price...and it's not like I don't have so much else to play already anyway since the advent of digital sales.

Once not long ago I bought and played every single FO3 DLC as I was dying for new and different things to play...those days are over.

I'm going to give this a go and then try out Crysis beta again; lets hope some nice scaling occurs.
Since 12.2b4 works well w/ WCG, this should too.....

I'm certain they had made improvements to Far Cry 3 even before it was released.
Or maybe they were optimizing the drivers so Far Cry 3 was not too buggy.
I think the 12.11 beta 11 had improvements for Far Cry 3 as well.

This driver definitely helped 7970 crossfire performance a LOT in the Crysis 3 Beta.

I can now play maxed out at 1440p with 2xSMAA and Vsync and average 50fps, and the game feels very smooth.

Dunno what everyone's deal with FC3 was... I've had constant 60fps in that game maxed out since basically launch day.

I have been playing Crysis 3 Beta with 13.2 with no problems using 3 7970's...
I am only getting about 70% to 80% load on each card though.

Let me know how they work for crunching. Might update, I just worry about it screwing up BOINC..

I installed the betas last week, then my motherboard got fried along with my chip and my gpus hit 100c. I won't be installing the betas, 13.1 along with the CAP profiles will do me just fine.

I still have to manually set the crossfire profile to Crysis3.exe in CCC for it to work optimally.

@HammerON - Crossfire was working for me before this driver, but like you I was only seeing 80%/80% GPU usage on 13.2 beta 4, and the FPS could fluctuate wildly. Sometimes it would churn out constant 50-60fps, other times chug along at 20-25, and it wasn't playable unless some settings were dropped down to high.

BLACK OPS 2 is not working for me with the beta 5 drivers, i can still load the game and play it, but my gun and is all pixelated looking, odd... going back to beta 4, never had an issue with them.

With 13.2 I'm getting higher temps and had my first bsod yesterday no gpu overclock.

Rolling back to 12.11 I found it best for my setup.

This improved things in Crysis3 but now Crysis 2 has reverted to the early days when having crossfire brought all those circular shadows and flickering.
Immediately on ADS'ing the screen goes black for a fraction of a second.
Gone back to 13.1

Odd, to all those claiming more bugs with the betas, the 13.2 series (unlike the old WHQLs) were the first for me to enable full screen scaling right off the bat with every res I plug in. If anything they seem more stable.

And btw, I'm not exactly on new gear. I'm still running an X58 chipset MB with an i7 950 CPU, so I doubt it has anything to do with hardware.

Then again I'm using the new AMD Cleanup Utility plus Driver Sweeper after, and I have manually removed the 12.11 CAP, which some are still mistakenly thinking needs installing, even with these betas.

I have done the same.
The drivers are unstable in Skyrim for me with my 7870.

Sure there are no flickers but the 13.1 and 13.2 betas are giving me ctd only in Skyrim besides the other issues I had reported.

Those betas are very inconsistent.
Prime95-ed my PC - no issues
5h of Heaven 3.0 maxed out + maxed out tessellation distance - no issue, no flickering, smooth ride, max temp of 45C on GPUs
DMC and Dead Space go into lockup barrage ( as in video locks up, audio keeps going and I can ctrl+alt+del all I want). Took out my OC whatsoever - same thing. And those games aren't stressing my GPUs.

Maybe it's tri-fire support issue. But I'm going back to 13.1
