Gtx 660 ti clocked Vs. HD 7950 Boost clock

Hi.

Like the title says, I need som help with desideing what videocard to buy.

I only use my computer for gameing, and I play on one screen in 1920x1080.

Should I pick the gtx 660 ti clocked or the 7950 boost clocked card?

Of the 2 cards I been looking at the;

MSI GeForce GTX 660TI Power Edition

And the

HIS Radeon HD 7950 IceQ X2 Boost Clock

They cost about the same in my country.

It dosent have to be the MSI og HIS card, I just need to know, what card is best for game on one screen and in 1920x1080, the GTX 660 ti clocked or the HD 7950 boosted?

With those two models, its really a toss up. I would just go with which maker you prefer. I have been thinking of two 660Ti's for a while but if not then I will get a 7970

7950 is a better overclocker it could hit 1.2Ghz+ if your lucky at which point it's a bit faster than a 7970 Ghz Ed

I think the 7950 Boost will be the faster card overall, but it may depend on the particular games you play.

If cost is the same then the 7950 is a much better deal. It also OC like mad. If you care about CUDA and physX then go with NVIDIA

if you manage to get the ati, when applying for games, log on from two different computers and when on amd site apply for the separate bundles from different computers at the same time.......then you get FIVE games for free.

For me the question is, get a top brand 660 Ti, or a cheapo 670 for $50 more? I won't even consider another Radeon card, their drivers are too buggy. nVidia drivers & software always work perfectly for me. I like the Asus DirectCU II cooling solution, so I'll probably end up with the 660 Ti, their 670 with the same cooler is $100 more!
