Was wondering whether these idle temps are okay?

Hey guys,

I'm using an H100 Corsair cooler with my intel i7 3770k processor, and my idle temps are about 33-35, with the minimum being about 29. Is this alright, or should I be looking into another cooling method / getting some thermal paste?

According to several different forums, those are decent temps. People will probably inquire about your load temps, so when you get a chance, post them.

My temps at load are about 50 degrees when playing CPU intensive games such as Arma, and they go up to 70 when rendering videos.

70 in videos and 50 in games? isn't it the other way around. Also what is your 3770K speed?

I think it's right... Rendering would put more load on the CPU compared to gaming... My CPU max temp when crunching is 70C and thats on a Hyper 212 EVO... What are your ambient temps?

Those are fine, but idle doesnt mean much. Put the card under stress and see what the temps are.

Really fine temps !

With custom watercooled loop and 3x120mm radiator you get 65-68 degrees maximum underload temps, i had that CPU.

Dont worry for nothing !
