Worst case scenario,,,They steal My identity,,they can have it.

There isn't much anyone could do with the information they asked for. All they asked for was a name and and address, both of those are already readily available in the phonebook/White Pages. Plus, you didn't have to give them your real name(Hi, I'm Rock Kickass), or your home address(had mine shipped to work).

An 8GB USB stick is probably a hell of a lot cheaper than those "phone books" Grainger still sends to work. But yeah, posting the data online would have probably been a lot better for this company.
