Hi there, what drivers are you on? Have you updated your SLI profile recently?
I'm assuming this is for HoTS and not WoL, correct? Has anyone else had this issue? Perhaps this will be updated by Nvidia quickly. Try running without SLI and turning off the fancy death/Physics animations.

The latest beta driver of 314.14. Single GPU in high setting, can't go for extreme setting.

have you disabled the AA?
When do you have low FPS? at the begining of the game?

Not much different disable AA, start of the game already lag, set to high or ultra get only 30+ FPS.

Obviously a problem with settings in your nvidia control panel or a problem with Blizzard's recent patch. A single gtx670 should be doing 100FPS on max settings.
Try to disable settings one by one to identify the issue (ingame). I wouldnt be surprised if "Antialias" in the game's settings is ticked and in addition another AA is forced in your nvidia control panel, thus giving the card a hard time... |

I had the same problem in SLI when I started going SLI on this game, game would just get breaks every 3 seconds. However I have forced SC2 in nvidia control panel in the "SLI rendering mode" to use "SINGLE GPU" and it worked out ok. I thought this would only mean 1 card was used, but it actually uses both of them at 99% correctly now.
Give it a try. |

My performance in SC2 has been pretty good with my 6870s in crossfire. Hell, it will usually stay above 60 FPS at 8x, most of the time 16x AA will as well. It sounds like an issue with the SLI mode being used. As the last person stated, changing the SLI mode may fix it as no all SLI/Crossfire modes behave the same way or provide the same performance and IQ perks.

Try to force 8x or 16x Antialiasing in control panel for starcraft2.exe amd try the SLI mode at AFR2, see how it goes. Just press ctrl+alt+f during game in SC2 and u can see the FPS on left top corner.
