Call of Duty 4 trailer released

The trailer for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been released – you can download the 720p version via FilePlanet. It looks quite impressive and is definitely worth checking out if you’re a fan of the series. The download is a 35.3MB Quick Time Movie, with FilePlanet requiring free registration before you can download it (there may be queues). Apparently the footage is taken straight from the single player campaign so shows what gamers will actually be able to play - the game is also rumored to be PC only.

downloading now no ques @ 350 kb/s, screen shots look like it has really bad graphics thou even worse than cod2, but i will confirm when it downloads, i think its just da screenie

one question, people say cod3 for console is the cod2 for pc, but i thought the cod2 big red one was cod2 for console, mean that they skipped one for the pc, true or false

The quality of the video is a bit disappointing, but gameplay looks quite good if the final game turns out like that.

ok just watched, graphics look much better but very blurry at the same time so i dont know if dats coz of video bitrate

also this game is not set in WWII, they have nigh vision and cars and helicopters and stuff so very modern setting, not sure wat year thou

There was no CoD3 for the PC, it was console only (damn them). I am glad to see a new CoD installment for us PC gamers. Big fan of the series. If it is for PC only, I wonder if they will be calling it CoD4? That wouldn't make since in the PC series. If CoD3 sucked, it prob. is just as good it didn't make it to the PC.

Let the consoles get the crap games and save the best for the best, the PC.

COD3 was awful. Be happy it never touched the PC. I can't put a finger on what made it so bad, especially being the sequel to COD2. COD2 is still great. I can't remember how many times I have played through the whole campaign.

being shot through walls, dumbass npc's throwing grenades at their teammates, messed up hitboxes, and having objectives telling you to do things the game wont let you dont exactly add up to a 5-star game...

Games like GTA are the only shooters that work ok with consoles - driving games are definitely better with a pad, but FPS have to be mouse and keyboard. Another reason why PCs > consoles.

that wmv video looked damn sweet ,cant understand why people are saying the graphics dont look that good i thought they looked pretty damn good, anyway onto the game itself, not too sure wether its gonna be a big hit with cod + cod2 fans as it is set in more modern times which changes the gamepley quite a lot but time will tell, cant wait for this to be released.

"Normal" people do not have the money to perpetually upgrade their PC to keep up with games. That is the entire idea behind consoles. While agree the PC is the better of the lot, 99% of the population does not buy $600 video cards on a regular basis.
