graphics look on par with the CnC3 engine, so blizzard have definitely put some work into it - wonder what engine they use.

Unlike most companys they don't just rip off one companys engine and make a game, they start from scratch.

This brought a tear to my eye seeing this news post. Haha. This game is going to be amazing. Starcraft was an amazing game back in the day, it was Blizzard games like Diablo 1, and Starcraft that really got me started with gaming back in the day. It looks like they kept it very traditional with a major overhall on graphics PERFECT!!

this game is junk, exactly like the first one, but slightly shinier... what happened to diablo III? they just let THQ take it all away from them, newbs... and we sit here and wait forever for more starcraft... and what the heck took em so long for this? 10 years to make this junk? i saw the screenshots, looks the same as the old one... too many games like this one already

... lol Diablo III, is not going to happen for at least a few more years. Diablo team is gone, split up to other dev companies like the ones for Hell Gate London, and Guild Wars.(OLD NEWS) By the way you just insulted the predecessor to the best RTS of all times, congrats. You must be a young one :P.

The old one ran at 800 x 600. I think this is a little different(sarcasm), they played it smart by upgrading the graphics and sticking to the same tradition style of the predecessor that contributed to blizzards success. I reccomend being a little bit less aggressive when being a new member to a tech community.
