System Specs

Can't uninstall Nero.

According to start Menu it's installed.



Add/Remove Programs says it is also installed.



But then when I click uninstall, it's not??



I think I need some help Can't get rid of the damn thing.

is it because you 'modifided' the .exe to get it to run IF so you need the un moddded on for the un install to work

finish the cleanup with a registry cleaner or manually open windows prefetch folder and delete the nero files there or you may get nero gremlins bugging you later

get regcleaner and delete everything relative to nero afterwards... if you go to install it, the computer might say that nero is already installed.

I remember Alecstar telling me that registry cleaners were quite dangerous unless made by him lol. I don't know what to do.

i use regisrty clean expert and it is very safe, if you accidently check the advanced user box it will warn you that you can cause problems doing that if you don't know what you are deleting. it is very thurough and safe as long as you stay away from the advanced user box.

if your still unsure then open windows/prefetch and post a pix of the files starting with "a" setion for ahead named files and also the "n" section for nero named files and i can tell you which files to safely delete.

Just install regcleaner... when you open it up it will have a lot of stuff to choose from to delete... just delete anything that says nero.
