Serious Sam II has gone gold

2K Games has announced that Serious Sam II has gone gold and will ship to retail outlets in North America on October 11th. This is for the PC and X-Box version. Both versions support multiplayer cooperative gameplay (limited to 4 players on X-Box live and 16 players on LAN or the Internet for PC).

In Serious Sam II you will fight endless hordes of monsters, use 15 different weapons, drive vehicles and man turrets. If you are new to the Serious Sam universe, get ready to play a First Person Shooter that is really serious.
