8600GTS. Not overclocked.

Runs Oblivion very well averaging 50 FPS (in forest area) on ultra high settings but with no shadows on grass and the shadow slider in the middle.

I didn't vote yet because I'm not sure what is the equivalent in performance to an un-oc'd 8600GTS.

Its covered just vote for the card thats about on par with the card you have, which in your case would likely be a 7900GT.

I have a 1900gt rev.1 654/780 atm going to oc to roughly 670/810 when I get around to it :P so I picked 1800gto or better.. even though my card is close to Pro speed -mem :P

Well... ANYWAY hopefully I have a 8900gts or something by the time this mod is done.. Im waiting for a good deal.

My PC: Powercolor eXtreme x1950pro 256MB PCIe (comes w/AC X2 Cooler), stock 600/700, OC to 621/770, 7.6 Cats Used, ATI Tool .27 b2 for OC.

My G/F's PC (My Old PC): ATI Radeon x850pro AGP 256MB 500/500, 12 pipes, modded to x850xt-pe (16 Pipes, 540/590), AC Cooler Installed, OC'd to 560/620. 6.9 Cats Used, ATI Tool .26 for OC.

Both are great cards, but the x850 was by far the most fun to tweak and OC, it was willing and capable, and with the better cooling of the AC Cooler, it was a rockstar! But the x1950 has twice the performance at stock compared to the x850 AGP at OC (completely different setups though, I'm sure that contributes).

This is in regards to your question about the Geforce 7300GS. OC'ed, it's not quite on par but in the same ballpark as an X1300 PRO. At stock it's probably slightly behind a standard X1300 non turbocache/hypermemory model.

Uh... GeForce 6800 runs it fine without 10000000x antialaising and anisotropic with 80000000x double fatass bloom and 934096034x346534789 resolution textures :P

I assume a 7600 runs about equivilant to my 6800. Last series' high-end is supposed to be matched by the next series' midrange.

Ok, once the poll reaches 100 votes I'll see the high from low and base optimisations around that, currently it doesnt look like optimisations will need to be done for cards below a 6800\7600 level.
