i reading this right it wont even be able to use dual 8x00 series cards

While I think this board is kick ass, one thing concerns me verily. Well two things: no dual 16X support, I mean, come on Intel, even AMD has a dual 16x mobo out there. 2) no AMD type boards. Granted, Intel is now in the lead, however, Id still like to see something like this for the AMD crowd.

most intel chipsets only have 20 lanes on the northbridge. On most boards, these lanes are split, so that the first pcie slot has the full 16 lanes, leaving only 4x lanes left on the other one. While this will work with multi-gpu setups, the 4x bottom slow severely limits bandwidth. So instead of doing it this way, they split them 8x/8x, and leave a few lanes left over for other pcie 1x slots or something. 8x lanes is more than enough for most graphics cards.

i mean its flashy, but it doesnt look like something i would buy. i dont like asus's heatsinks on this board. i dont like how the setup on the sound hookup (to big)... not saying its not a good worthy board, just dont like it.
