Toys R Us Caught Selling BioShock Early

Toys R Us must have got a memo wrong, because they started selling copies of BioShock a week before the game was supposed to be released (August 21st). While gamers were conspiring to determine which stores had goofed, 2k Games worked to stop the leak in it's entirety. Internal E-mails were fired off, and now Toys R Us does not sell BioShock (though, they do still have it in stock). It is unclear whether or not 2K Games will fine Toys R Us, and an official statement from both companies is expected shortly.

Toys"r"us is still in business??? i thought they went out of business like 5 years ago when kids stopped playing with toys...

::flashback:: i can remember back in the 90's when toysrus was my favorite place... so sad that kids are playing violent video games then playing with toys and killing other toys with them...

True, I get games when i feel like it... dont actually think i have ever brought a game at first release.. besides if im putting money aside.. hardware comes first, second and last!.

I have ermm.. all of three or four (new-ish) games ... i think thats enough for me.

Probably just some employee who saw it in the back and stocked it, not knowing it wasn't released yet! Someone lost their job!

It was one of the first games announced to be 64-bit (to be multi-core), but its still not out. If you go to AMDs website they talk about it
