looking for a mobo for q6600

im putting a new pc setup together. and ive seen most people like the p5b delux for overclocking the q6600. however i want room for upgrade in the sense of having 2 xfire video cards in the future. the p5k has that and i just wanted to know if its a good choice for overclocking or not. http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=25131

im open to suggestions of other mobos in similar price range, or if none available maybe $250 max

the p5w dh deluxe actually DOES officially support the 1333 FSB as of the newest bioses, so don't let the whole "faster fsb" thing deter you. also, the performance gap between equally priced ddr2 and ddr3 is non-existant. save your money and get yourself the p5w, then you have a little more cash to spend on nicer ram or a better video card, etc.

good ddr3 is rediculously expensive right now. more or less its nice to have for the future. but the pk5c is cheaper actually by like about $40.

Give this EVGA board a look. eople have told me that it is gold, OC well if you want to, and is a decent price. No DDR3, but supports more RAM types if you choose to OC them. Its a little steep, but alot of people seem to like it.

Just got my Q6600 GO. I'm runnin' it on a DFI p35 Infinity "Blood Iron" MB. Awesome and stable board, with almost all of the bios options of the p35 Lanparty board at almost half the price. I'm still doing some testing, but I've had the FSB up to 512 on the latest bios, and I'm sure I can go higher. Take a look at the review:

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooo

whatever you do dont get a asus p5k or lower, only get the p5k deluxe or premium. the other p5k's have terrible vdroop and are shitty overclockers. just get a nice gigabyte p35 dq6, it has the highest fsb according to the toms hardware guide. the higher fsb, the more ocing you can do. dfi=overpriced imo.
