Ubisoft Assassin's Creed Goes Gold

Yet another groundbreaking, earthshaking game title has gone gold this month. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Ubisoft Montreal's Assassin's Creed are now being manufactured and will hit stores on November 13, Ubisoft announced today. A $69.99 limited edition, said to pack a figurine and other goodies, will be available along with the standard $59.99 version. The PC version of the latest stealth adventure title from the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time team was originally scheduled to release alongside the console iterations, but was recently delayed until early 2008. i really can not wait for this to come on to PC, man i will upgrade just for this game looks amazing. hope with the pc version it will give you loads of stuff to do and wont be just a medieval version of hitman

iv heard alot of good about it like you control your chartacter like oblivion but the controls have been set up and worked on so it isnt akward. and i guess the moves are amazing too i saw a couple and they looked wicked good his attacks interact with the other charater amazingly..no misses actually hitting etc...no space between the fist and the face type of thing.

I hope the PC Version will be a PC VERSION justifing the delay. Not like Bioshock, that was just a console game for the PC.

I've been looking at this game for a while. It has a very interesting combat system. The way you fight makes crowds react differently so you have to waitfor the perfect time to strike and use the crowd reaction to your advantage and dissappear in the confusion. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy.

Lets hope so! Remember what Ubi did to Rainbow Six : Vegas? Such a promising game and did very well on the XBOX360 but the PC port, especialy the multiplayer aspect is what really killed it. If you think a forum filled with complaints about EA would not only be mindblowing but somewhat understandable, take a look through the archives of Ubisoft's forum, specificaly about Rainbow Six : Vegas for the PC!

If the expresidant of sony signed the "only on" papers when they were given to him than, this, and a few others wouldnt be coming to the 360. It was even shown that the first pics that were shown ween't just PS3 shots.

I was actually pleased with the singleplayer, but it still played really consolish. Never tried the MP tho.
But Ubi recently kicked the PC Gamers in the balls a lot of times. R6:V and the worst was Splinter Cell 4. A great game, but it was so f***ing bugged that it took me like 27 hours to finish the game. 9 hours of total play-time, 18 hours of rebooting my PC, replaying scenes, restarting the game and posting in the Ubiforums. I think 2 or 3 months after the initial release there was patch 1.04 which made it finally playable...

Damn you Ubisoft!
