Assassin's Creed
Man, I cannot wait to get my hands on this game! Looks really good, and really next gen. But something caught my attention with some of the vids...
Seem like this game is not all about the Crusades! Like there is some futurist technology or something behind it. Look at 5:15 of this vid: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/13511.html?type=flv Look at 3:15 of this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PL_-87zogA <---big twist, big spoiler! Look at 0:11 and at 7:47 of this vid: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/u...es/116639.html There are more vids. Stuff about memory, hard drive, subject 17, re-initializing...etc...And what about that flashing math crap that pops up when targeting. Weird stuff! Cannot Wait

What if they are just game glitches due to bugs in the programming that are worked out in the final version?
And what the hell happend to the bit that you coudlnt get hit even once by a weapon or else you would die? In that one 8 minute clip, he took like 6 blows from a sword.

To bad it's late for the PC though.

The technology aspect is something they planned. They talk about it in the latest EGM.

hmm, it looks ok.
The climbing etc looks fun, but the combat looks TERRIBLE! I know it's based on counter attacks etc, but it just looks really awkward and when he's surrounded the guys just stand there not attacking. |

You didn't call your parents fags You didn't call yourself "hacker" on the internet You learned to spell "awesome" and "assassin" they might think you are mature enough to get the game.

So there are couple reviews on this game, and one gave away the secret spoiler...highlight area below
Publisher Ubisoft has been extremely cagey about the game's long-rumored sci-fi trappings, but because they're revealed so quickly, it's not really a spoiler to say what we're about to say (although if you really don't want to spoil the game's first five minutes, go ahead and skip to the next page): Assassin's Creed actually follows two storylines. First, there's white-robed Altair, an arrogant young Assassin cultist who lives in the Kingdom of Jerusalem circa 1191, during the Third Crusade. Soon after the game begins, Altair botches a vital mission deep underneath Solomon's Temple; disgraced, he's given a chance to restore his honor by assassinating nine key Muslim and Crusader political figures, thereby restoring some peace to the region. Then there's Desmond Miles, Altair's near-future descendant, who's kidnapped by a shadowy corporation and strapped into a machine that can unlock the ancestral memories stored in his DNA. His segments - which bookend each chapter of Altair's story - play a little like a point-and-click adventure and are confined to the lab where he's imprisoned. Why this layer of sci-fi weirdness even exists isn't clear at first, but it never feels tacked on, and the things you'll learn here will gradually cast an unsettling new light on Altair's story. |

Im not catchign anything that has to do with Assassins Creed. All I know is that I want it, I cant wait to play it, and Tuesday is almost here.
Meanwhile, here are the achievements for the game. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/a...php?gameID=277 One of them is to see 85% of the memory glitches... Edit: Check this out: http://www.xbox360achievements.org/news/news.php?id=383

The memory error has been confirmed by an achievement. So it must tie into the gameplay somehow. Such as Altair being from the future.
