overclocker, 7/10. 8 Fans is dumb, and so is having a FSB that is off. in your case 237.
Have you ever used an Okia Power supply? BTW, if my stock cooling sucks, then why is my CPU always like 21*C idle, 32*C load? Whats to suck about that? |

Ok, in comparison between mine and 3991's which rig would you rather have?
No offense 3991... Just trying to show hat something ... @spud I like your specs, 8.5/10... Those X19x0 series still whip ass.

I'd take 3991's. Dual core, solid 1GB set. As you can tell I have no real need for huge amounts of video processing power (8500gt).
this monitor is great for me... =/ |

It's not dual core.
I didn't get anything for it from NewEgg. My parts came from a local business who gets mad cheap prices, and lifetime warranties (Now you all know why this system isn't overclocked)If you're wondering why I have this old FX5500, I didn't want onboard video (true integrated, sucks), I was too cheap and poor to afford a desent PCI-E card. So I just used the FX5500 instead...now I'm looking into a good PCI-E card, and saving some money.... |

Even if it is single core, I can take it and overclock it anyway.
![]() Also, it has a solid 1GB set of RAM, probably in dual channel. Don't see that happening witha 512 stick and a 256 stick. |

good dual core CPU, good matching mobo (about the best dual core you CAN get for that mobo, and both are cheap yet fast)
cooling fans - noisy? 7600GS - not bad i guess, it can still launch every modern game on low. seagate 320 is a fast drive, i had one before i got my 500GB samsung case is ok, PSU is ![]() overall 7.5/10, 8.0/10 with the 'coming soons' you mention in there ![]() P.S - get some faster ram :P

The quantum is a loud mofo. You have a good system, it's just that the 5500 sucks, I would get at least a Radeon 9600.

I give your computer a 9/10. Its preaty damn good, great PSU, decent CPU Clock, RAM and a decent monitor. Lucky You.
Not to mention the ATI GPU. (Great card, isn't it)

@cdawall & 3991: No offense to you.
@hat My rig meets cdawall's performance. I really think you need to get your "rating" system inline and start knowing what's what in the budget world. You gave me a 6/10 TWICE but you also give 3991 a 6/10. Here is my 3dmark06 score Look, a very comparable system to mine OH LOOK WHAT IT HAS! an 8500GT! Yes, I know I need a new processor, but dont down my rig, HAT! |

The main reason I down your rig is because of the Celeron and the 512 stick with the 256 stick. The memory is mixed brands... not good. Probably no dual channel with that setup either. Sorry if you are being offended.

Yes but most of your run was stock clocks.
Stock vs. stock cdawall I probly score mid 40k's. It doesn't matter though, my point has been shown. I just want to thank you for backing me up on this one. |
