That's the majority I play on my PS3. But the 360 doesn't have any majority over the PS3's online FPSs. But I'm not sure about the same for the Wii.

so far the only game I'll ever buy a PS3 for is FF13... every other game is going to be on xbox.. and thats only because of the fact that the sony pres. was stupid and didn't sign the exclusive rights to the system...
I love sony to death, and have both the old systems. but when I have to get a new tv just to play the game right... whats the use in that? IMO.

You're not the only one. Sony will has 2 games worth buying - but they're not out yet. FF13 and MGS. I own 2 PS3s and they have an inch of dust on them. XBL is by far the supierior multiplayer format - but you gotta pay for it. Also it's good that 90% of people w/XBL have microphones.

I agree that PC wtfPwns consoles - but I XBL is starting to grow on me. If you have a mic for a pc, you usually have to use something like Vent. Mic on the console only allows you to talk to teammates, and often doesn't let you talk to them while you're dead. I hope windows live picks up pretty soon.

Eh there are many picture settings on the PS3, maybe you need to relook. =/, my screen has never looked retarded. I've played it on HDMI, S-VIDEO, and COMPOSITE.

Gran Turismo 5 and Metal Gear Solid 4 are ps3 only.

And you still have to buy a new tv to play the games properly on 360.

Apparently you haven't played Heavenly Sword, Resistance, and Warhawk. Uncharted and Ratchet and clank and UT3 are also killer games. Maybe you should check out the new Sony list of games coming out...There are so many games coming out worth playing.

Who said the ps3 versions were better? And nobody mentioned GTA4 either. I mentioned GT5, as in Gran Turismo 5.

I got the ps3 because it makes a great all around machine. It's a great for streaming media from your computers, a great Bluray player, great upscaling DVD player, and it also makes a great internet/home use computer, when you load Linux on it. All that, AND it plays games. Works out to be a great value for me.

And I flatly refuse to pay to play games online. If the game is online and cross platform, I either buy it for my PC, or if that's not an option, I buy it for the ps3. 360 is my last choice for an online game, because I'm not paying for Xbox Live Gold. I think it's stupid to not only buy the game for 60 fuckin dollars, but then also have to pay to play it online. MS can kiss my ass on that.

If a cross-platform game isn't online, I look for it on PC first, and if not, I just buy the one that's cheaper.


EDIT: In case you couldn't tell, I own both consoles. I actually like them both as well, but for different reasons. I just hate XBL. And I hate when people bash products they know little to nothing about.

I don't think I've said it's the best console the entire thread. Wait let me check just to make sure. Nope, I didn't. However, I disagree, I think they're all good. It would be a sad day in hell if there was only one console.

I just don't like people who come in a thread like this and start talking about a product they really know little to nothing about.
