Mushkin Introduces Lots of New DDR2 Memory Kits

Mushkin Enhanced, today announced the immediate availability of the following new DDR2 memory kits:

2x2GB DDR2-1000 XP2 Redline CL5-5-5-15 @ 2.1V
2x2GB DDR2-1066 XP2 Series CL5-5-5-15 @ 2.1V
4x2GB DDR2-800 XP2 Quad Kit CL4-4-4-12 @ 2.0–2.1V
2x2GB DDR2-800 HP2 Series CL5-4-4-12 @ 1.8V

All Mushkin memory modules are backed by a lifetime warranty.

Mushkin is the best... Expensive but IMO the best. I've got their stuff in my desktop and laptop.

G.Skill sell a 2x2GB 1000Mhz kit, easily overclockable to 1066Mhz (as you can see in my system specs).

Unless the Mushkin modules use Micron-D9 chips, which is very unlikely, there should be almost no difference.

Mushkin are indeed one the best, but they are closer to Corsair/OCZ than to G.Skill/Crucial on the price/performance tier.

Since they both use the same voltage, my assumption would have to be that the 1066Mhz modules are handpicked, and composed of the best of the batch, of what is likely "Powerchip" chips.

I don't know if there're any 2GB modules with D9 chips...they're produced for 1GB package modules only.

Yeah, that's probably true. And with DDR3, I don't know if Micron will make D9's for 2GB DDR2 modules.
