PNY Shows off 32GB SDHC Cards

PNY has upped the ante with new 32GB SDHC cards announced during the PMA show in Las Vegas which started today. The company plans to offer these very high capacity cards in SDHC, USB Drive and Compact Flash formats. The cards should be available sometime in the second quarter of this year. wow. just, wow. I wrote a long write up on this same wavelength before, but Solid State Memory density seems to be exponentially increasing, becoming cheaper, and gaining usability/universality; It WILL overtake Mechanical Drives soon.

CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL.

Also, this is awesome. I wonder what the limit is on SDHC?
Like how SD was limited up to 2GB.

Also, I recently saw a 16 MB flash drive the other day, and I was disappointed.
I paid twice as much for my flash drive, and it's 128 times larger.

I wonder what the cost of this would be like? SSD substitute with the proper SATA adapter?

you need more desu.

This is good - flash has every advantage over mechanical drives except price (price controls capacity) so we're nearing the times when we all go SSD
