But the main issues is why doesn't 360 titles remain exclusive to the 360. The PC is like another console. What makes a console great is its exclusive titles. The original xbox died right away is because its games were ported to the pc.

Game developers want to make profits for themselves, not Microsoft. They can manage this better if they release on all available platforms. What should make a console great is quality and reliability.

Well I know that (talking about the 360, not the devs.), but 3rd party titles of the PS3 is still on the ps3. The 360 is gonna be short lived if they dont keep their 3rd party games exclusive.

I disagree on what makes a console great is based on quality, the root of the console is its gaming library, and more particularly is its exclusive titles.

Based on what you are saying, its like praising a console for being well built, but having crappy games. Your not buying a console to be an ornament to complement the tv, your buying it for the games.

thats true too, but piracy is starving the developers and the only way forr them to make more money is releasing on all platforms. its not about the games anymore its about the money imo

This is one of the reasons I didnt get the 360.
Instead I got the PS3 bc most of the PS3 exclusives I couldnt get on the PC (unlike the 360).
Also, the PS3 can do soo much more than just play games

Actually there is one game that I can think of that remained XBOX360 exclusive (I bet there are a few more), the RPG Blue Dragon (which I thought was pretty good).
Otherwise, it seems that the newer "exclusives" comes out the PC now so I just am waiting for them

They said in 2005 5 that PC Vista and 360 should becaome one. With both systems getting the same games and playing at the same time with live service.

Have yet to see that yet, but I still have hope.

Alright, I am definitely selling my Xbox 360 once it gets back from repairs. Sure, my PC won't look as good as 360, but it will still look pretty enough for me to play. I figure Fable 2 will come to PC too. There is nothing exclusive for 360 that I really care about anymore. I do have one backup 360 I fixed, but that is sure to crap out for another reason than RROD with the way things are going. Mass Effect is awesome and I can't wait to replay it again on PC.

Hopefully, the first fable was in development (mostly art direction and concepts) long before the xbox was actually released (i think it was 7 years before).
