Right on the money... But then also you have to look at the voltage that is going into the memory it self. You don't want to try and fry the ram because of tring to get up there on the memory. Thats why whenever I change anything on the memory I use Ultimate Boot Disc's Memtest to make sure the ram is stable. Once through and there isn't any errors then I will boot and try the orthos and a 3dmark 05/06...

hat: I'm feeling the numbers.... 8 and 10 coming from your system!

thanks! Although, that's a mild OC on my P4 currently, but then again, I don't want to run it at 4.6GHz 24/7

I feel ya on getting impatient for new hardware to show up; I orderd a Q6600 CPU, an ASUS P5E3 Deluxe/WiFi motherboard, and 2GB OCZ Platinum DDR3 1600 the other day . . . and they just can't show up fast enough

Couple months from now I'll prob be upgrading to a 3870x2, and possibly a couple months after that I'll pick up a second one for quad-fire and a new PSU; until then, the 2 1950s are more than great enough to hold down.

1.4v is nothing, though for me - I've got to bump it to 1.625v in to hit 4.6, though. Stoopid x23 multiplier is what buggars that up I'm still not quite sure how I manage to keep my temps so low for a Prescott, though - 34C idle and about 50C @ 100% load at current clock settings.

I've been starting to bet myself that I can get a q6600 to break 4GHz on air we'll just see if it can be done
