Battlefield 2 lag

I was wondering if anyone would know why bf2 lags so badly on my pc I've tried lowering the settings resolution etc etc but it lags unbelievably i go from 100fps to 1 everytime someone else comes on screen.

you got me man, i sued to play that game for about a 2 days amd took it back straigh away, battlefield games are glitchy as, EA suck arse too

They are horribly glitchy but i used to have it running smoothly on an x850 pro ... I loved that card.

hahaha, the X800 series, i used have one of those cards aswell, i had the X800PRO, loved it!, used to play HL2 all day and doom 3 mainly, fun times but gave it to a friend for free.

i try not to play older PC games on Vista, cause i have a stong feeling that they wont work well, especially EA games, i try to play need for speed most wanted but it stutters alot for some reason so i got rid of it, and LOTR battle for middle earth 2 is glitchy to the max

I still have my pro with an arctic silencer on it runs at room temps then jumps up to 60 when you look at the temperature sensor.

It wasnt all without incidence were all talkin on skype and as soon as a game starts bamm one of my mates skype dropps and then magically starts up again when the game finishes weird

I use skype for talking as well and sometimes it automatically disconnects me, I usualy go on moongamers karkand when its not empty bf2 name is davepenman give me a shout if you see me
