I played it on 360, awesome game. Well worth the $50 if your an RPG fan. Very good storyline, and from the review its a good port over to the PC.

I borrowed it from a friend, I didn't like it but I didn't really give it a chance everyone told me it was really good though

Just got mine yesterday, a few hours in. Fantastic so far, reminds me of KOTOR a little. I'm slow to get the hang of this combat system, but I'm sure I'll get it soon.

Aw assassin's creed sucks imo. Repetitive and boring, I quit about halfway in, I'll finish it one of these days, but aside from the graphics, that was way overrated. Maybe 2 will provide a deeper experience.

The combat system I think just takes some getting used to. I'm not used to performing this many actions on the fly w/ a keyboard and mouse, I'm used to the pad. I contemplated getting a controller for this game, but I think I'll stick it out w/ the keyboard and mouse a bit longer......

Its not a bad port from the consoles, pretty well optimized, with very little glitches. Good looking game, and doesn't really have high system requirements. The combat and over all game feels much better with a keyboard and mouse.

There are a couple of things I flat out don't like about the combat, for one, you can't shoot up close, only melee. I'm to this part where you have to shoot a bunch of bug-like things, and they all rush me real fast, to the point where its very difficult to put some space between us. Then once they get close, they just pummel me and I am practically helpless to stop it. Just gonna have to be quicker I suppose (don't have enough mula yet for the big upgrades).........

Other than slight annoyances like that though, the game seems amazing, can't wait for the story to develop.

Just finished the game. Spectacular. That was one of the finest space opera games, one of the finest rpg's/third person shooter/whatever you wanna call it I've ever played. Lots to build upon too. I'm wondering if the trilogy will be set up in a way that allows you to continue your player w/ the choices you make throughout the game. It seems set up like it could certainly be possible to do so. That would be a first. This could be the start of something beautiful, I hope deadlines and marketing won't stifle it, and allow it to become everything it could be. If you haven't checked it out yet though, I highly recommend doing so.

I had already got and completed it on xbox 360 and it was a fine game one of the best rpgs ive played.

I got it on pc and i love it even more. It has easier controls for me that seems iproved, good graphics if not better than the 360 version, better loading, no long elevator times, better menu systems, optimised, runs well on my pc and feels like a pc game.

The xbox 360 version took me a while to complete because i wanted to do most of the side quests and i like to take my time over a game really savour it not rush it and go well that was it.

I usually like to do the same, and I did for most of this one. Once I got toward the end though, I got sucked into the action and neglected the rest of my unfinished side quests. That was one minor complaint I had w/ the game, the side quests were rather repetitive, and didn't allow as much exploration as I was hoping when travelling between star systems. Hopefully the sequels will allow for more compelling world play during the side quests. I plan on going through again in a month or so, renegade style, so I'll pick up whatever I missed then......

The side quests you thought were unimportant and that you should do the main story missions but untill i completed it i felt i should have done all of the side quests because it got to a point where you couldnt go and do any more quests and some of them if you didnt do them you couldnt go back and do them if you progressed.

I tried most of them for the items and stuff and some had cool storys to them but the gameplay was the same search for an item kill a certain being, search a tunnel or a building.
The story of them was all different tho and interesting.

Im astonished at the detail of voice acting and the amount of voice in the game because a lot of the log things are voiced.

Yeah the voice acting and score were among the best of any game I've encountered recently. And the story was always interesting, even in the side quests. But yeah, the gameplay just didn't offer much variation. But its a pretty daunting task to create a galaxy of planets with unique and interesting things to do. The next hopefully will put some more on there.

Bioware is my new favorite developer. Their last 2 big games have been my favorite two games released in the last two years.

Finished it on normal 3 times, veteran & insane. At first I thought this would be just another buggy BS RPG/FPS but this is by far the most stable RPG/FPS I've ever played. Beautiful planets, ships, hell even the loading screens are great. The 3 normals were just for the 3 different xxx scenarios They were a bit corny & I laughed through 2 of them but they were worth it anyway.

I did go through the whole thing with all the side stories on insane mode. That was kinda dumb since I lvl'd up so much I was on lvl 42 by the time I fought Seren for the last time & he ate me up

Bioware has created some awesome stuff here & I can't wait for their next monster

Well I got it today (release day over here) and I've been playing it most of the day...and now I'm stuck. completely, utterly stuck. It's one hell of a bug that has totally destroyed any way of advancing...bloody great.

it's like WOW and CSS together. not much to look at, but very addictive. I will tell you now, You're always poor. soldier is the best class (I love it the most, anyway) but it doesn't have any tech skills, so you can't collect alot of the good stuff in the game.

I wouldn't really compare it to either of those games in almost any way. I also didn't have a problem w/ money towards the end, easily was able to buy anything I needed. And if you play as a soldier, just bring along someone in you class w/ tech talent. You should have some combat, some tech, and some biotic in your party at all times. Balance is the key.

@Darknova: What happened? Where's the bug and what did it do? I never experienced a bug of any kind.

Its probably that bug that deals with a certain part of the exploration side of the story, a hell of a lot of ppl are having that same problem

I'm talking about the one on Feros by the VI. Bastard is actually invincible. He loses his shields, and you can see his health bar take damage, but it immediately goes back to full.
