I'd like to spend $120 max, it depends on how far the bus will go on that chipset though.

Surprisingly enough even at 2.3v this ram won't do cas 4 at 800mhz. It takes 2.3v to get it to 900mhz, and I gotta put the timings at 5-6-6-18 to get it to post. Definately the weak point in my system as far as oc is concerned. Once I get some new stuff I can really unleash this 6750, which does 3.6 at 1.34v (~1.325@stock), so I'm thinking 4ghz is in my future w/ this chip, unless I get another one before the ram.

Oh and 9/10 ozz, gotta love the 9600gt sli.

Wait, I know you have a bios string on it that lets your run SLI, but is it an AMD chipset or a Nforce?

Thanks but I think Victor is letting itself down with the little 4000+, I plan to drop a 3870X2 and a 9850 Phenom (both cheap as chips because i work at a computer place) soon, just have to wait for the money.

For your system I give a 7.9 for components, but with X64 Veeshtuh it gets an 8.5 because at any time you can drop some serious RAM in there

i'm giving you a 9.0

Suitable for just about everything, an all over well rounded system. The parts in it are known fast/reliable hardware, all cool running so it can be quiet too.
