Tubing and fittings/barbs for my water cooling setup.

Hi. I wanna list you the parts that I will put together and tell me if everything looks ok. I also want what tubing and barbs to get with it. I'm a little confused on that one. Thanks in advance.

CPU block: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=WC-000-DT

Pump: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=WC-004-SW

Reservoir: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=WC-007-SW

Radiator: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=WC-020-SW

Fluids: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=WC-000-FO

I need tubing and barbs now right and the quantity. Cheers.

looks good, but I'm a bigger fan of swiftec blocks myself. why only the cpu? that radiotor could handle both cpu/gpu

I just wanna cool the CPU 'cause I guess it's the main thing inside a PC and it's gotta be kept cool. What tubings and barbs do I need?

www.coolercases.co.uk is better for wc stuff than ocuk

Dtek fuzion v2 is a good choice. I would rather a DDC18w than a vario on the pump. The res i would go for is an ek multioption res, with vortex breaker. I would go for a thermochill pa120.2 or greater rad. I would make my own coolant from deionised water and a decent antifreeze (10% antifreeze). i would also choose 3/8" tubing and barbs over 1/2". dangerden clearflex is also better tube than tygon 3603.

7/16 tubing isnt widely used in the UK. Plus 1/2" pipe takes up so much space, its so unflexible and gives very little in return over 3/8"

I'd like to use overclockers, thanks for the link though. Can you please go on overclockers and link me to what YOU would get for me? I want high end stuff.

the clips are nasty...but ocuk dont seem to stock jubilees. OCUK is not a good place to buy wc stuff from. I buy lots of stuff from them...but i would not buy wc. Only reason to buy anything wc from them is because they stock feser rads which are impossible to get anywhere else in the uk

I'd recommend forgetting those clips they suck, they'll either break or won't hold tight enough. go to your local auto shop and pick up some of these.
http://www.germes-online.com/direct/...Hose_Clamp.jpg

they come in all kinds of sizes are typically sold for a few pennies a piece, will hold nice and tight, won't be a pain in the ass to take off, and won't break.

I know you like OverClockers...but there are lots more places to buy from and you will save some money by shopping around..here are some more sites to try.

Chilled PC

WaterCooling UK

TheCoolingShop

SpecialTech

Over-Clock UK

Aqua-Pcs

Just a note,if you do go for a triple RAD,just make sure you have room for it in your case if thats where you are mounting it.They can take quite a bit of room up.

For tubing you could try Masterkleer 7/16" ID with 1/2" barbs -its a nice tight fit and helps reduce the chances of leaks.

For the CPU block -I agree go with the new D-Tek FuZion v2

EDIT:Also if you go with the Laing DDC1+ pump you might want to try and get a different top for it to help flow rate. Also the stock top is 3/8" barb size fittings.

Here is one with a Petras Tech top (very good top)
Or you could get the EK-DDC X-Top for it here.

I plan on getting the latest Lian-Li case at the end of this month and someone on youtube has the case and he has a triple rad in at the front.

I agree..a double would be suffice but if you can fit the triple in, then it will future proof you for when you add more blocks till your loop(that's if you do...and you probably will, as it is addictive once you start and you always seem to want to try new parts out )

Search up "Maxishine" on youtube and he is using the same case I'm getting at the end of this month and search his video of his new triple rad and he shows what barbs he is using.

That's the ARMORSUIT PC-P80,a very nice case.. and he fitted the Thermochill PA120.3 rad into the front ..so you know that it will be able to fit your RAD in there if you want to go that way.

One thing to note if you buy the Thermochill RAD is that the barb threads are a little bit different from most normal barb thread sizes,it uses 'Fitting Thread: 3/8" BSPP' and a lot of barbs are 1/4" BSPP ..if you are using 1/4" BSPP barbs you can get a converter for the RAD here

Here is what you are looking for -a 3/8" to 1/4" BSP reducer

http://www.over-clock.co.uk/acatalog...cing_bush.html

That looks like a nylon reducer,if you would rather have a metal one you can get them here -
