Logitech Introduces New Set of Keyboards

To help you find the keyboard that best matches your needs – and style – Logitech today introduced three new keyboards, including the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard, which offers an optimized backlight experience, Logitech PerfectStroke key system and Logitech’s thinnest design ever. Also unveiled today, the Logitech diNovo Keyboard for Notebooks is designed for laptop owners who use a notebook mouse to improve comfort and need a keyboard to complete their setup, while the Logitech Cordless Desktop S520 offers a keyboard-and-mouse combination that matches a wide variety of computer setups.

Logitech Illuminated Keyboard
The Logitech Illuminated Keyboard makes typing easy – even in the dark. To optimize existing backlight technology, Logitech combined microlens reflectors, a multilayer painting process and laser etching – creating a backlight experience that is brighter, sharper and easier to read. Whether you're typing an e-mail or chatting with a friend, the adjustable backlight gives you just the right amount of light.

With its transparent frame, the ultra-thin Illuminated Keyboard (.37 inches or 9.3 mm from base to frame) adds an elegant touch to any desk. Balancing form and function, the keyboard offers a full-size key layout (including a number pad), soft-touch palm rest and a full row of F-keys, as well as media- and volume-control keys for instant command of your entertainment.

PerfectStroke Key System
The Logitech Illuminated Keyboard and the diNovo Keyboard for Notebooks feature the Logitech PerfectStroke key system, which provides a typing experience that’s comfortable, fluid and silent. PerfectStroke is designed to create longer key travel – 3.2 mm compared to 2.2 mm – than that of typical notebook keyboards; as a result, the distance your fingers have to travel to activate a key is optimized for your comfort. Ill wait for one of these then... logitech is going up in my books... so far I have been more than happy with everything Ive bought from them "Z5500 speakers, G5 mouse, Steering Wheel etc...)

Nice looking keybs, but like my Logitech UltraX Premium better (http://www.inet.se/bilder/6101303/lo...-svart-oem.jpg). That wristrest would just get in the way as I use my own. Although the illuminated would be nice, if it's as flat and as good quality as this.

Just make a custom key popper out of a paper clip (you'll find instruction with google). Pop the "." out and clean the beer out with cue tip

My G15 is still serving me well in my gaming endeavors. The price on this is lower than the original DiNovo. I am surprised.

i thuink its becuase these are a stripped down version of the Dinovo... dosent have the touch sensitive dials on it or the fingerpad

2nd problem is that ive seen these keyboards or 99.9% similar style from logitech in my local shop for months now.

Ive still got the keyboard i imported from hong kong a while back which is still good after serving hours & hours of BF2, FEAR, CoD2, Cod4, Guildwars, CS:S, UT2003, UT2004, UT3

my keyboards got more experience then a top level wow cruncher

my $350AUD dinovo edge died in under 1 year and logitech australia are absolute pricks....not only that why would you have consumers register thier products online then make them jump through hoops with warranty claims.....f**k logitech,f**k logitech in the Arse with a spiked bat....i ended up buying a new mac keyboard(its made from aluminium and win)...and now recomend microsoft periferals (ultimatley costing them atleast 6 sales i can think of right now)
thier call centre is a joke and thier email support sux...oh and thier flagship periferals are fault prone...avoid...oh how nice is all that razer stuff. end rant.

The Illuminated an the perfect stroke system seem to be up to date and user friendly. But the keyboard for notebooks doesnt seem too great..

They are above F-keys with orange, so no single button media keys, but shifted ones.

Just froom looking at the picture it looks like they are laptop keys. So id guess little to no noise.
