“Originally the game was only going to be developed [by LucasArts] for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. But after enormous cry for a PC version, we have decided to begin development on the PC version of Force Unleashed,” said LucasArts President Jim Ward. When asked about euphoria and Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) being implemented on the PC, he responded, “While I don’t know all the technical specifications, it is my understanding that both euphoria and DMM will be able to run smoothly on the PC by 2008.”

“The game will be nearly identical on the PC to its console counterparts,” Ward reassured. “All PC games have their differences such as controls and this one is no different.”

The game will be shown at the Electronic Entertainment Exposition (E3) July 11-13, 2007, in Santa Monica, California.

Have any of you guys played Jedi Outcast/Academy? If yes, how is The Force Unleashed compared to those?

I hope they'd reconsider and make one for the pc! The previous games on the pc was not a flop I loved it Kotor 1 and 2, Republic Commando, Outcast/Academy. They all rock... I unno about the RTS but for me those games rocked and kept me hooked with the starwars universe.

Im on the final mission at the moment (The 'under construction' Deathstar) I just had to bring down an Imperial Star Destroyer using 'The Force'..........one of the greatest in-game moments I have ever seen!

Lol I have it on PS3, seem to be the only one here who does! I tried it on my 360, I didn't like it, controls are a little easier to manipulate for me on the PS3...plus it looks prettier!

Think of it with the dark-side powers magnified about 1000 times. That's Force Unleashed.

Get it on the Wii, not 360. The control scheme will make up for the lesser graphics

Plus it's cheaper :P

Its pretty awesome Ill give you that. A buddy of mine bought it for his 360 yesterday, went during work because he couldn't wait. Also seen it on the ps3, ps3 looks a tad better but thats all for now.

well it just comes down to pad preferance then

I personally couldnt see any difference in the PS3 vs XBOX360 version videos on youtube.

I don't blame them. If my job was to make video games for a living I wouldn't even bother making them for PC. My company would be at battle with giants like EA and Valve. The ability to buy games online through Steam is great, but the ability to pirate PC games will never cease. I know consoles can be modded to allow burned games but the reality is the average console gamer could give a crap about modding. The average console gamer buys or rents their games. The average PC gamer uses torrents and pirates them. That is the reality. Companies are realizing this and more and more titles will become console exclusive.

But back to the topic, I hope this comes to PC!
