That Seem's to Be one of the Lowest Priced Ghz 7970's on Newegg.
Although Visiontech does have a Ghz 7970 that is cheaper, it isn't currently available on Newegg.

That Looks like a Great Card. I think it is the Ultra Durable design that they offer as well , if I'm Correct.

Plus Three Free games @ newegg if you Purchase Through them.

At $450 (Newegg's price), that's hardly one of the lower priced 7970s. They currently start at $370 for the HIS IceQ X2. HIS IceQ X² H797QM3G2M Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit ...

Personally, if it's just for 1080p, a decent 7950 will do just fine, like the Vapor-X going for $310 right now.

There's an XFX 7970 on promo at Newegg right now for $330, but it doesn't have very good reviews.

The reviews on newegg dont mean much,if your card is working fine you probably wouldent bother writing about it on newegg.

I don't know why you guys are quoting Newegg and talking Black Friday deals. The OP isn't in the States.

Yeah I know you can't trust a lot of Newegg noobs, but that particular card is hard to find reviews on because most of them are done on the Black and GHz Editions instead. And to the contrary, when a card is working exceptionally well, quite often you WILL find raves about it on Newegg, with bench examples, which also causes others to try it.

How would we know? He doesn't list where he's from or the vendors he has access to. For that matter, Canadians shop across the border for Black Friday sales.

Since the OP mentioned a GHz GPU ,I felt that it would be helpful to STICK to THAT type.Yes they Do have other Lower priced 7970's , Good Work. I saw Those too , but it Didn't Seem relevant. There's Also another lower priced GHz that's out of stock. I didnt mention that either. Since it Didnt Get great review, and since the mem and core , or one or the other were clocked under spec.

Well just checked back in here to say I missed the $330 deal on the XFX 7970, but today Newegg had this for the same price, so I went for it.
SAPPHIRE 100351SR Radeon HD 7970 3GB 384-bit GDDR5...

I was tempted by this 7950 for $50 less, and it has great reviews, but I like the idea of getting the extra oomph of a 7970 for a little bit more.
SAPPHIRE 100352-2L Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR...

I also got this to help pull me up out of the slow HDD stone age.
Plextor M5P Series PX-128M5P 2.5" 128GB SATA III I...

This new hardware should up my WEI considerably and help balance my system spec.
