System Specs

Until recently discovering adaptive vsync I never used it because of the snap down effect being so aggressive and nuking your frames. Adaptive fixes that. Before adaptive you could turn on a simple cap in nvidia inspector at any frame rate your wanted if you modified the options, but for whatever reason that feature could still result in tearing. If AMD has a simple cap option maybe it won't tear and that essentially would give you adaptive vsync.
