Has this happened to you?

For those with low bandwidth


I did this a few months ago. I don't remember exactly how I did it. The data is still accessable. I bought it as an external hdd and have been using it as such. I went to take it out to use it elsewhere and I saw this and remembered why it was still and external hdd.

I kinda want to use this inside of a case but is kinda hard to.

If that break is the plastic behind the pins i have seen it happen as my brother had it happen to him..

WD used to at least not sure if they still do, make a connecter which was supposed to help against the chance of it breaking by making the power and data cable in one piece but this is going back some years now.

I always use the L shaped connectors which i believe helps to stop this kind of thing happening.
