Some more good news. Said screw it and punched a hole through my wall and am running a direct ethernet connection now. Pretty ridiculous from Windows... It first showed me my E-net driver was out of date (from 2006). I DL the newest driver and try to install it - of course Windows says it's the latest and most up to date driver. My e-net connection isn't working due to this. I "ROLL BACK" to the earlier version and what do you know... It gives me a 2011 version instead of the 2006 version. Ridiculous. But now she runs and hopefully no rubberbanding after I get the new system set up.

Get that video card and memory in there and you will be good to go. Running BF3 like a champ

Yeah wired is the way to go for multiplayer gaming. One less potential snag.

Can you say holy f***ing SHYT! You guys were dead on from the start. Plugged in my ethernet directly to the router after punching a hole in the wall, runs smooth. New sytem = FULL ULTRA at 1920x1080 resolution on an empty server... May have to knock it down a bit on a big server but wow what a friggin difference. Looking forward to playing some serious BF3 and future games now!!

I'll be on after 9 pm MST, you seem to be a good fit into our BF3 menagerie.

You and Mailman both getting on soon but I gotta head to study for a final tomorrow... We'll do it again soon though!

Just played about 1.5 hours of BF3 at ALL ultra, 1920x1080 with decent size servers... only a couple hiccups. This is awesome. Lookin forward to some good times.

GPU OC'd to 1095/1395 stock and CPU stock speeds w/ H60 cooler - 1.5 hours gave me 65 max temp GPU and 57 max temp CPU... That's pretty hot for a watercooled CPU at stock clocks but hey it runs the game perfect so whatever.

Glad everything is running smooth.

I can't remember the specification of your old system? Did you just change the video card and add RAM?

In all honesty the 1055T X6 was plenty. You could have just went for the video card and RAM upgrade for the same effect.

But yeh, it's a solid rig, glad everything has worked out fine.

Yeah I was going to keep the Phenom but my dad needed a whole new system so he just bought CPU/MoBo/RAM/GPU so I could have an excuse to upgrade everything anyways
