Do NOT overclock and you will be ok. Now you will need a molex to PCIe adapter, but everything will work.

Another card to look at, HD7770. Still wouldn't try overclocking.

Surprisingly enough, GTX460's consume only ~15W more than a 550 Ti. See you would have been ok even with an HD6670 but that would have bare minimum in gaming from my POV.

it'll run comfortabily. good quality PSU and not too much load with that system, you will be fine even if you overclock although it could be potentially risky

If you're so worried about the psu you shoud've bought a 7770 its on 28 nm max power consumption 80w not a pos 550 ti even a gx 460 have better performance per watt than that. http://www.ncix.ca/products/?sku=685...X&promoid=1261

My 2 cents.

^ Agree. Cancel the order for the 450, its one of the weakest performing gaming GPU out there.

oh I missed it bro , I didn't know that the difference is only 15w ..I just checked the pci e power connector count , I got the gtx 550 for 125$ +tax with a mir of 15 $.gtx 460 costs 145+tax .price difference was small
