System Specs

1080p is 1920x1080

670 is the "best" of those three but...have you considered AMD cards?

Of those, personally, I'd go with the 660. There isn't a $100 jump in performance with the 660ti nor a $200 jump in performance with the 670.

Depends what country you live in due too different pricing but I would go with either a GTX 660Ti or HD7950

GTX 660 or GTX 660 TI? There's a big difference between the two.

Best deal from what you said is the 7950 at 400, if you prefer NVidia the 660Ti is also to consider.
I wouldn't waste money on a 660 non Ti at this stage in GPU development (few months probably the 700 and 8000 series will be out) only if I am constrained with the budget and come from a low end older gen card. The 660 non Ti gives the performance of a GTX570, a 2 year old card which will have some problems at 1080p with all eye candy turned on.

so how's your 660 (non Ti) bro?

i am also pondering on downgrading to 660 (non Ti) from my current 660 Ti... since i don't game too often anymore (probably once or twice a month and just 2 to 3 hours)... other than that, i just use my computer for browsing and typical stuff (music, movies, etc...).

i was even thinking of just getting a GT 640 but i'm concerned if i game, i still want to play @ 1920x1080... and GT 640 most likely choke at that reso...

I do the regular tasks as well, most of the year, I play very few games sometimes i don't play games for over 3 months, but when i do I like to have the best performance that i can get that's why i love my GTX 670.

And don't get me wrong, I'm a hard core gamer, there are just not enough worthwhile games to play all the time.

I fully understand this "urge"

As for me though, I am just a casual gamer so I think 660 will suffice... I'll just probably have to learn to let go of that "urge" from now on...
