Your favourite game in 2012?

My vote's for Borderlands 2, seeing FarCry 3 holding the no 1 position here has made lose faith in this forum. Game is boring and apart from being able to skin animals(which is lame) brings nothing new to the genre.

Far cry 2 is good but omg there are so many console tard options it is not funny.

Firstly why do all the bodies and objects you can use flash like a neon sign saying omg you can like do something with me..... That is really annoying.

Its like the found a nice engine and had to put baby steps into the game. Is there an option to turn of the flashing corpses ?
I you need to be reminded you can swap your gun for another one every time I walk over another gun ?

That sums up 2012 for me. There's been only three games I've ever really enjoyed. Half-Life 2 multiplayer, Fallout 3, and BF3 multiplayer. Everything else more or less became a chore just to finish.

Been considering checking out the new Borderlands however Diablo 3 is the only one on the list I have played, while not a great game IMO and hugely unready for release, being "just another Diablo title" I wasn't expecting much and thus wasn't really upset either.

I am yet another where BF3 and SC2 are my primary played PC games.

What about torchlight 2 ? very casual but fun.
And Trine 2? the first game was awesome the second is just as awesome. I actually prefer indie games now as they have less tard options and seem to be more PHUN!!!!!

Is okay looks great although I did get it on the steam sale so didn't pay full price.
Although it is very fisher price and has way to manycut scene.
It is designed for console tards but it has some good points.
Id be really pissed if I paid full price.
Also got it to play with a friend which has been fun.


BF3 haven't played it so can't bag it out ... but going from the past games.
BF1942 - was great
BF2 - not to bad but lacked something....
2142 was a mod not a new game..
BFBC - was just more running...
Personally not a huge fan of any battle field after 1942.
Game just seems to take for ever and for ever run run run die or shoot then repeat.
IMO battle field is almost like a RPG takes a while to get new weapons and it involves a lot of travel.

I've always liked counter strike / cod as they are fast paced spawn shoot die.
10 minutes later you have your fix and can go do stuff in the real world.

Boarder lands 2
Is good but seems toooo long. Still haven't finished it after 40 hours. Maybe because I've done pretty much every quest I can do. I do like the 40,00000000 different guns in the game. Although it seems to be lacking something boarder lands 1 had ...

Star craft 2
Pay $89.98 get 1/3rd of a game.
Star craft 1 you got all the races campaigns the complete single player game for less.
Blizzard haven't come up with a new idea in at least 15 years. They just keep regurgitating old franchises. And dumbing them down and down. Lack of lan support was a huge killer for star craft 2 for me.
