what make is this cooler ?

just installed another cooler on my 3870 (off of a scrap card from the bay lol ) , but what make is it or is it one that sapphire did in house

I think its a fairly common design for a cooler, seen ones similar on other cards, NVidia ones too.

it keeps an overclocked 3870 while gaming at 50c and idle it runs 34c , i wonder if i could find another as it hardly makes any noise

If I had to guess I would say that's cooler design is probably an OE Zalman design, it looks a lot like the zalman designed cooler that was on my old Palit Sonic 9600GT 512mb. Was a nice little cooler, but it had a smaller fan on it...I eventually replaced it with an AC S1...which was no contest with higher OC's and lower load temps.

Hey you were looking for those thermal pads before my hinting post got deleted on overclockers uk.

I said, "auction site" and so it got deleted even though ebay is mentioned 485 in their forums for the last 24 days.
