Gaming or Wireless Keyboard
So I'm looking to buy either a Gaming Keyboard (Razer Lycosa/Tarantula, G15 etc) or a Wireless Keyboard (almost any wireless keyboard will do). Condition doesn't really matter as long as it works properly and it doesn't look like it's been done with a hammer. My budget is up to about £40 and I would really prefer to buy it from within Europe. I can also stretch my budget slight bit if it's a good keyboard/deal.
Although you must be aware that Gaming keyboards will be considered before ANY wireless keyboard as this would be the priority. Also backlight is a feature that would get an almost instant sale. Also, just a keyboard (instead of keyboard + mouse combo) is also much preffered as the mouse would just go to waste or my mother. Thank you Last edited by fenurch; Mar 29, 2010 at 12:54 AM. |

I'm ressurecting this thread due to having some spare money which I can wisely spend in the name of keyboards.
So, read the first post and then post. Thank you |

i would recommend the G11 and its only 19.99 atm @ overclockers.co.uk
Great gaming keyboard, and great for typing on also, best of both worlds. I ve had mine for about 2 1/2 years and not one flaw. ah its gone up to 25.99 , heres the link anyways, still a bargain tbh. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=KB-090-LG |

Althought G11 seems like the main option right now (although I have some worries due to its size as its whopping 21 inches) I will still consider other Gaming Keyboards (and Razer Lycosa would be something I'm really keen on).

That Lycosa is a nice keyboard -I'd be willing to trade my Tarantula for one! It doesn't fit in my keyboard tray it's so big...

The Saitek Eclipse II keyboard is pretty nice and doesn't take up too much real estate -better yet, it's relatively cheap.

Also Tarantula with modfications could possibly be the greatest 'gaming' keyboard of all time. |

Big thanks, bro. Edit: God! Reclusa is almost exactly the same size as the G11. fail. Well I'm probably gonna sacrifice some serious desktop space to get one either of these unless someone pops up with another great deal Last edited by fenurch; Mar 31, 2010 at 01:45 AM. |

I've considered a downgrade to an Arctosa. As much as I like backlighting, I don't look at my keyboard when I type and it really doesn't serve much of a purpose. When you game, how much time do you spend actually looking at the keyboard? The light from the monitor should be enough for you to see it if necessary anyway.

![]() Meh, I don't tend to game in the dark so backlighting wouldn't really matter for me anyway but its something I like DAnd I can type so fast that I don't even need to look at the keyboard anymore. Think you call it touch-typing. |

The G11 @ £26 is dirt cheap, I bought a second hand one at £20. Be careful of the Reclusa, I heard it has only American style layout.
