if you want to change you coolant, empty the res, flush it with distilled water until youre happy with it, if you want to save money, use distilled water and add a little bit of antifreeze, as the next coolant... it has only slight color, but i love it^^

Velvet, Can you get a picture of the colour? I'm going to be filling mine soon, got the choice between Feser UV Black and De-Ionised Water. Would prefer colour though.

sry, i meant i love its price, i dont care much abour colour... but there should be safe dyes in every colour, when the pink or blue colour of the antifreeze is not to you likings.

You can add color to de-ionized water (like the dye bombs), but I found them to fade rather quickly. In fact, my blue didn't hold a week. I should flush, too, or optimize my loop... it looks like its cooling with milk lol.

i can take the coolant out of my sytem and just put this in the system and start the pump up and let it run through the system for say 5 mins? then drain the water out of the system and replace with my coolant again is that correct? what is the easy way of draining the old coolant out of my system? here are some pics to pick a good drain point. http://www.techpowerup.com/gallery/1782.html thx for the help

Triple distilled + antibio ftw. The lesser the additives the better. And imo, temps are not that ground breaking vs high performance air. so your better off spending that cash else where like renting two hot girls at the same time

the definitive question is: what is better, non-conductive coolant or de-ionised water?

am really not a fan of dyes anymore. back then, it was a blast with the bling and all.. but then everything started to stain, clog up your block, leave gunk in your rad (which is the hardest part to clean)... in which lowers thermal performance.
