1) I'm on my cloned drive now, I am going to be setting up Raid0 very soon and when i do..Can i boot to this External hard drive and clone it to a RAID0 array? Yes/no
a) Before hand I intend to put to formatted HD's In a RAID0 array....once i do that will i be able to add this external drive to boot from? yes/no

depends if you can boot from the external drive, try it out before hand.

Alternativly you could try using symantec ghost to make an image of your drive to the external drive, then setup the raid0 and use ghost to put the image back but now to the raid0.

Yeah, that is basically what i did... I used ACRONIS true image (free from WD website) loaded my system on an external and installed Vista in Raid0 and then copied all file and setting to the new setup, but I still have the external here that i can also boot to...but it's so slow
