Hello as I migrate over here to TPU forums! Why I see this as a great place...

Hello guys, I'm new to TPU, so I'll be contributing to TPU forums whenever possible at the expense of XS! Their news section is rapidly going down the hill, as the few remaining admins let things get out of hand after 2 days or so and then issue perma-bans, which have resulted in somewhat of a mass-exodus of those who have made thousands of posts each (Snipe_Dogg, Shintai, GAR, etc..). I can see the importance of having a moderator who actually participates in the forums, inviting intellectual conversation and mutual respect--it does a lot more for establishing diplomacy than we would think at first. Such impact was clearly seen when Movieman (a wonderful moderator) just disappeared from XS forums.

W!zzard, you gotta stop contributing to XS news section! Let's do it over here!! Greetings people, and cheers!!

I consider myself very lucky to have TPU as the first (and only to be honest) tech site I frequent on a regular basis.

Welcome Bo, enjoy your stay.

ROFL!!!!! Oh man, I'm gonna catch up with all of this overkill humor after I come back from a camping trip with my wife & 3 boys over the Labor day weekend (on the beach over at St. Joseph's Peninsula in Florida)!

Man, I'm telling you, I can already see that the Mods here are flat-out awesome. It is more than natural to be as friendly and respectful with them as possible, with the way they are!!! About Movieman, yes, I miss him, and his reputation was apparently ruined by a guy over at XS posting a picture of him holding a liquor bottle and a beer in his hands with a dirty shirt that made him look like a drunkard. I sent that member a PM asking him to post another picture to support his statement that he is strictly a coffee person, but he refused to do that, for the sake of Movieman's reputation. Movieman is a wonderful, sweet person, and was only sick for a short while (like less than a week) but still has not yet come back after a month. That member in particular (and a few others) kept on confirming that he's no longer sick after a week of his inactivity, so I do not know why he has not yet come back to XS forums. It's not my business, really, but Movieman, I've really seen your "legendary" conversationalism work its magic throughout the years.
