Need Some help to maximize my PC

Okay guys here it goes:

CPU: AMD Phenom 8650 x3 Toliman @ 2.3GHZ
RAM: Corsair DDR2 800MHZ 4GB
GPU: EVGA GTX 260 SCC DDR3
M/B: MSI K9A2
PSU: Coolermaster 800W SLI ready
HDD: 320GB SATA WDC

Goal:

Get the best performance out of my system. As of now in order to get Above 100 FPS in COD4, COD:W@W, I must turn down some settings...

I just wanted to know the best way to get my system Overclocked to be a bit faster, the 260 is overclock to Just Below 700/1400/1200, but am at a lost on how far I should push my CPU. I have gotten it to 2.4ghz before on stock cooling.

So what i am asking you guys is some help. If I need to Purchase a better AIR cooler I will, I understand FSB Overclocking a little bit, but not much.

Any help i would appreciate.

Does the AMD Phenom x3 8650 overclock well? What cooler/paste should I invest in? How far should I push it?

I don't want to go to the linmits but I would like to get it to the higher 2's maybe even lower 3's without water cooling. I need a stable rig for gaming so im not trying to benchmark anything, just relieve the bottleneck i ma seeing with the GTX 260 and the Phenom 8650....

Any Help would be appreciated.

8650's are not good overclockers unfortunately. You'll be hard pressed to get it up to 2.9ghz at most. It also depends on how high the HTT can go on your motherboard.
