the 3850 was for my old partner she needed a boost from the lowly 8600gs (GS basically stands for just as bad as a 8400)

The Akasa is decent. My only groan is that it's 3pin and i didn't have any headers spare

No just the cooler thanks, my friend hasn't replied to me yet.

It being 3 pin should be no problem, one of me 3pin connectors works on my mobo ( the pwr one) means it will run at 100% all the time but no bother

I'll send you 7 pounds 50 in a bit.

Have you got any thermal compound to go with it? I'll give you an extra 50 p
