STALKER Complete 2009 v1.4.2 (Nov-14-2009)

For those who don't know yet, STALKER Complete 2009 is a collection of the best mods for STALKER, making it more "cute", i can't describe it, but if you have a good video card and CPU, and you like STALKER, i'm sure you'll get addicted again with this new content, if you're already using this, then it's time to update, release notes bellow.

Quote:
The new and improved version of STALKER Complete 2009. One of the most exquisitely beautiful experiences ever to grace a gaming system.

Version 1.4.2:

- added comments to all vocal/guitar tracks for proper volume and radius
- added 19 new authentic music tracks by various artists (credited in full ReadMe)
- disabled the ability to see what the secret stash holds on PDA map (was meant for testing)
- fixed low volume PDA radio messages
- enabled NPC counter on the minimap (optional)
- touched up Sidorvich's skin
- fixed Sleeping Bag camera spin
- fixed shadow glitch
- enabled third-person view, press F1, F2 and F3 to cycle through camera views; numpad + or - to zoom in/out*
- other tweaks

* By default Stalker Complete v1.4.2 enables camera toggle only, to activate a third-person gameplay, right-click on the Stalker desktop shortcut and select Properties. Then in the Target box, one blank space after the last character, insert the -psp switch and click OK. Your Target box contents should look similar to this:

"C:\Program Files\THQ\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl\bin\XR_3DA.exe" -psp

or like this for a shortcut created by Steam:
C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe -applaunch 4500 -psp

Version 1.4.1:

- enabled anomaly evasion for NPCs
- reduced torch light by 50% due to overexposure when pointed at walls
- added ability to sell armor and weapons to NPCs so they can use it
- NPCs can sell ammo
- touched up sky and weapon textures.
- increased scope waving
- increased difficulty on Master

Version 1.4:

- Smart Mod Manager compatibility
- one consolidated archive
- multiple bug fixes from user feedback
- natural dawn (less purple)
- new water shaders
- flipped G36 scope
- optimized night sky textures
- includes incremental patch by Steel
- fixed Screw repair dialog

Should give it a try... I did some tweaking this week on the console... tweaked the fake AA and Global Illumination... I still think that no game has matching shadow implementation to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Only thing I miss is the player shadows..

Really enjoying playing through stalker with this mod, it just seems to play and look better than before. Maybe I am just getting more used to the Stalker style of gameplay.

Ah, I personally don't like it. Makes it hard to see items and such. What is the timer rotation on day/night?

Well i'm not sure about the time rotation, but it's for sure more slow than Fallout 3 lol.

If you went to the middle of nothing in real life, like people are in stalker, when there's no light sources )if there's some they are old), but fire. It might not be easy to see items, but in reality it would be the same and probably worst lol. Check the Mod docs for help related to your problem.
