Overclocking ASUS G50VT-X5 laptop
Can someone point to some overclocking software for the CPU and GPU for laptops?

setfsb works pretty well for the asus laptops, head over to www.notebookreview.com and check the asus forums, that's where i learned everythinga bout my asus g71

+1 on noteookreview.com good threads about all sorts of laptops. gpu tool should work but I'm not sure about the cpu.

Your G50 already has some software it comes with, but you can use clockgen to push it further. Though, clockgen can't change the voltage like the ASUS software can.

Yeah i havent mess much with the ASUS software, so far all i've check out is the Turbo mode, which OC's the CPU to 2.4Ghz which is quite neat with the click of a button
